Full Stack Web Developer - eCommerce

Job Description

Full-Stack Web Developer. The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying both internal and external websites, from layout to functionality and according to business requirements. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly designs and clear navigation. Looking for candidates with experience in designing high traffic eCommerce websites.

This is a full-time position that works IN PERSON out of our corporate office in Troy, MI.

Web Developer responsibilities include but not limited to:

*Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.

*Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

*The position requires constant communication with colleagues.

*Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.

*Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programing languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, XML and API's.

*Functional Knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is helpful.

*Experience with Magento, BigCommerce or other eCommerce platform.

*Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to eCommerce applications.

*Experience with some server side framework like php, ASP.NET, Python, etc and SQL also helpful.

*Ability to juggle multiple projects with accuracy

Web Developer Skills and Qualifications:

*JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, AJAX, JSON,XML, Web programing skills, eCommerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, API's

*Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

*HTML: 3 years (Required)

*eCommerce: 3 years (Required)

*SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
