Who we are

We are currently creating a team for our customer who is a public broadcaster in Germany.

What you'll be doing

Install and maintain server operations, primarily on RHEL-based distributions such as CentOS and AlmaLinux, ensuring high availability systems

Develop and manage deployment solutions for servers and applications, with a focus on utilizing Ansible/AWX for streamlined processes

Utilize scripting languages, notably Bash, Python, and Perl, for automation and customization tasks

Administer applications within the Linux environment, including DokuWiki, Graylog, Gitlab, and FreeIPA, ensuring smooth operation and performance

Manage database systems, particularly PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance

Implement and manage monitoring systems, with a specialization in CheckMK, to proactively monitor system health and performance

Establish and maintain a container infrastructure using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and efficient resource utilization

Implement, monitor, and optimize security measures for system hardening to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities

What you'll bring along

Bachelor’s degree in technical field wourd be nice to have

Minumum 3-5 years of experience in the application management technical support or development

Experience with Linux (Red Hat/ Suse)

Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Experience working with scripting (Python/ Perl/ Bash)

Experience working with Kubernetes would be a plus

Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German
