We are looking for qualified candidate to fill our open Welding Position. responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, welding and other equipment operation and safety requirements as documented in the quality system. Essential Duties:

1. responsible for fitting up, pre-heat and post weld heat treat and welding of parts and assemblies

2. responsible for verification and completion of all operations and documentation to ensure that the product meets the customer's requirements, industry regulations and TWC Quality and Weld Specifications

3. responsible for the flow of work in the weld shop while maintaining the production schedule

4. keeps the Managers informed of significant developments impacting the manufacturing/welding operations

5. keeps the welding area clean, neat and safe at all times

6. weld in flat and vertical planes

7. select and set up welding equipment

8. check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments

9. estimate materials needed for production and manufacturing and maintain required stocks of materials

10. prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter

11. work with other departments within the organization to achieve high efficiency of the company

12. other tasks as assigned or requested by the department manager/supervisor

Skills:

1. must be able to weld (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and SMAW), weld must pass X-ray and UT test

2. must be experienced with welding machines (Stick, MIG, TIG, and Sub-Arc)

3. must be able to weld fittings, TIG and blend

4. must be able to read blueprints, welding specs, work orders, and any reports

5. must have valid certification to operate forklift and overhead crane

6. must be able to fabricate and fit skids

7. self starter, team player and highly motivated

8. minimum of 5 years' experience with operating an ARC 5, ARC 5I or ARC 5P
