The Role

We are looking for a Contractor – Research Associate, Protein Sample Management to join our Antibody Research Materials department. This position is crucial to maintaining the flow of research materials that fuel Genmab’s discovery pipeline. As part of the Protein Sample Management (PSM) team, you will play a key role in managing both inbound and outbound logistics of biological materials, directly supporting the development of transformative cancer therapies.

Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination: Handle and organize every part of shipment requests, including paperwork and communication with shipping companies.

Inventory Management: Oversee the release of protein batches after data review, ensuring accurate inventory reporting and management.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about customs regulations and ensure all requirements are met for the shipping of biological materials.

Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the optimization and innovation of logistics processes within the team.

Requirements

Educational Background: MLO or HLO (Bachelor’s) degree in biochemistry, biology, or a related field.

Laboratory Experience: Proven experience working in a laboratory setting, following established procedures.

Skills and Attributes: Accuracy, flexibility, and a solution-driven approach. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage unexpected workloads.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with laboratory software, automation, and data handling is highly regarded.

Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Industry Experience: Previous experience in a related industry is an advantage.
