Salary: $22-$24/hour

ClaimAngel is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Lien Management Specialist to join our team! As a valued member of our close-knit team, you will report directly to the Director of Lien Management and be responsible for a range of servicing and lien management duties including supporting the month-end close process. You'll manage a variety of deliverables and prioritize your responsibilities effectively. You'll interact with the operations and legal department and the larger ClaimAngel team. We are seeking an individual with exceptional attention to detail, a great phone presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines. What You’ll Do

Lien Management Responsibilities:

Process daily responses from law firm and provide updates to our funding partners

Respond to inquiries via phone and email from customers and other departments, such as account balances, payments, and invoices

Accurately record servicing and case update information into Hubspot and our worksheets

Prepare weekly and monthly escalation reports

Act with urgency to ensure all files are monitored and updated quarterly

Place a high volume of daily phone calls to law firms and claim adjusters to ensure proper handling of all liens

Manage a large book of business and claims, ensuring account recovery is guaranteed

Provide payoff letters to law firms and insurance companies in a timely manner

Liaise with claim adjusters and law firms to ensure all liens are correctly placed on client accounts

What You Should Have

2 years of experience in Billing, Collections, and/or Accounting roles.

An outgoing personality allowing you to connect with law firms, claim adjusters and clients alike.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills is a must as you'll be reviewing a high number of records and ensuring everything is correct.

Excellent organizational skills, time management, and problem-solving skills in order to compile and retain detailed information, complete daily work, support audits and complete ad hoc requests on time, and find solutions along the way.

Strong understanding of claims and experience working with adjusters and/or law firms.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel

Experience in banking, litigation funding, collections loans, mortgages or related industries would be great; additionally, knowledge or passion for the personal injury or legal fields is a plus.
