Firearm Trigger Assembly Technician

Rapidly growing firearm manufacturer looking for a trigger assembler to join its team.Overview

Blackout Defense is a precision rifle manufacturer and innovator of exciting products for the hunting and shooting sports industry. We are a rapidly growing brand and are in need of enthusiastic and dedicated employees to grow with us. You will be joining a small team of great people who enjoy a cooperative working atmosphere.Responsibilities

You will be a trigger assembler for our AR rifle and other platforms. You will be responsible for:

visually inspecting trigger component parts for damage and defects,

assembling component parts with pins, springs, set screws, and loctite, using hand tools such as allen keys, ball-end allen wrenches, tweezers, and soft face hammers;

adjusting trigger resets and setting the trigger pull weights;

tuning and testing triggers for proper functionality such as clean breaks, smooth resets, and zero pre- and post-travel;

identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues that arise during trigger assembly and tuning, and effectively communicating any relevant issues to the production side of the machine shop;

laser engraving trigger housings and laser welding trigger internal components; and

maintaining an impeccably clean and organized work area.Qualifications

familiarity with firearm triggers -- preferably in rifle platforms -- either via prior professional work or personal experience;

proven experience in assembly and mechanical troubleshooting;

ability to sit, focus, and work on small components for a long period of time;

detail-oriented with a focus on quality

ability and willingness to pass a background check and drug test.

Salary info:

$18 - $23 / hr
