Director of Finance

Job Title: Director of Finance Location: Rockville, MD Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote after initial training period) Salary: $160,000 - $210,000 per annum, plus comprehensive benefits Responsibilities: Lead and manage the finance department, ensuring high levels of financial discipline and accountability.

Develop and oversee financial strategies, plans, and budgets in alignment with the organization's goals.

Direct financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.

Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and financial institutions.

Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.

Develop and coach the finance team to achieve excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting management, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team.

Proven experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing finance for a significant segment of a large organization.

Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Superior interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.

Ability to strategize and solve problems efficiently.

Strong ethical stance regarding the principles of financial management and confidentiality.
