Western Container – 1st & 2nd Shift Production Worker

Western Container is looking for 1st & 2nd Shift Production Workers to join their Beloit location and 2nd Shift in their Janesville location!

Responsibilities:

Openings for both 1st and 2nd shift

Safely set up, operate, and maintain various saw machines according to job specifications and lean strategies

Record production data, including logging into jobs and closing open work orders

Read and understand work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, materials, and dimensions

Safely and efficiently prepare materials for shipping, ensuring proper identification, tagging, and wrapping

Collaborate with management and other departments to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and ensure work products meet client specifications

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

1-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to follow instructions and solve problems that involve a few concrete variables in standardized situation

Knowledge of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel), preferred

Valid Driver's License, preferred
