Automation Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an Automation Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. Our team delivers and maintains automation-based systems and solutions in the operational technologies (OT) environment which provide for flexible, innovative, cost effective, compliant, and quality-focused manufacturing of our life-changing medications.

As an Automation Infrastructure Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

Reviewing cyber security vulnerabilities and risk pertaining to automation systems, software, and infrastructure

Designing and monitoring automated reporting of critical system attributes for system life cycle management

Providing automation system design for data integrity, stability, and interface between different systems

Representing Automation in multi-functional teams providing technical knowledge for troubleshooting, and investigations to drive data driven decisions

Managing and communicating timelines, service dependencies, and deliverables with key collaborators quickly and effectively

Review/Approval and implementation support of changes to the OT/Process Network, Operating Systems, Policies, Firewall, and Security Software

Developing and executing test plans for software/hardware/infrastructure pertaining to automated process control and process monitoring systems or lab systems according to change control procedure

Tracking and communication/documentation of work and system activities

Creation, modification, and maintenance of automation system documentationThis role might be for you if you:

Have experience with Rockwell/Cisco Stratix Switch configuration management, Firewalls, fiber/copper infrastructure

Are experienced with Microsoft Windows and Linux Systems, Active Directory and Group Policy

Are familiar with configuration of Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Asset Centre, ThinManager, and Transaction Manager

Have familiarity with PLC communication, HMIs, computerized system design and maintenance of automation process control infrastructure

Can balance changing priorities with increasing workload by making/communicating timely decisions

To be considered for the Automation Infrastructure Engineer position you ideally will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and the following minimum years of relevant experience for each level. Experience with cGMP and validation pertaining to biopharmaceutical production operations and computerized systems is highly desirable.

Engineer: 2+ years

Senior Engineer: 5+ years

Principal Engineer: 8+ years

Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually) $72,800.00 - $162,800.00
