Description:
The PMO Director oversees the project management process including governance, team leadership, tracking and monitoring, prioritization, communication and quality controls. The PMO Director should have a proven track record of successful project delivery, an ability to improve project management practices, and have substantial team leadership experience with a focus on team development.
Provide oversight and guidance to Project Managers, Technical Leads, Architects, Engineers and Developers to ensure the successful management of all contract activities.
Formulates and reviews integrated project plans, strategic plans, provides enterprise leadership, direction, and management support and assists with the planning, supervision, and execution of all aspects of contract performance, executive level direction, scheduling, and technical performance while requiring interpersonal and communication abilities
Provides leadership over project performance, service delivery and client satisfaction and annual operating plan
Lead organic growth initiatives and drive efforts to develop project manager and team lead skillsets, growth mindset, and career development through coaching and mentorship
Provide thought leadership through assessment of future project requirements and develops strategies for future project work
Provide strategic and long-range goal planning function driving strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned in areas such as cloud, network automation, cyber, and IT services
Written ability to document work performed on contracts into detailed past performances, white papers, proposal data calls, and other technical content
Quality mindset with an eye for identifying opportunities for improvement, standardizing best practices, and developing and leveraging metrics
Provide clear verbal and written communication to stakeholders at all levels on status and progress
Identify, research, and resolve complex technical issues
Follow AGILE and ITIL best practices in planning, implementation and execution.

Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity, while maintaining and expanding the database of contacts within the targeted organizations
Partner with Customer, Stakeholders, Project team to determine needs and pain points to develop a strategic sales approach
Establish and maintain current customer relationships by responding to customer requests and managing/resolving customer issues
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutionsRequirements:
Must have Secret or higher security clearance
PMP certified
10+ years experience leading multi-functional teams in support of IT federal government contracts
Proficiency in SDLC, SELC, PMI and ITIL best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft O365 tools
Demonstrated leadership ability and management of high-performing teams
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple competing requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills
