Come join an amazing Team and watch your Career GROW, at Crabapple Landscapexperts! We have an immediate need for a LAWN CARE TECHNICIAN to service the extended Metro Atlanta Area from our Mableton, GA – South Branch.

An ideal candidate would be skilled and highly motivated, with a focus on working safely and providing outstanding customer service. The core requirements of the Water Truck Driver / Flower Crew Member will be to complete flower watering assignments efficiently and effectively via the assigned, designated Company vehicle. Additionally, you will assist with flower crew responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Safely drive the company truck to our customers’ properties.

Daily preparation of products, company truck, and equipment

Follow all safety requirements including all pesticide safe handling per the product labels.

Place all ‘Do not Treat’ signs and ‘Pesticides Applied’ signage as required.

Treat lawns with correct products based on specific turf type.

Meet specified production goals.

Good communication skills with our CRMs and team members.

Daily completion of paperwork including daily use reports and property feedback to the Lawn Care Manager utilizing a company cell phone and tablet.

Maintain a clean company truck and any company workspace reserved for lawn care operations.

Perform lawn care services ranging from ground applications of fertilizer and pesticides to ornamental plant healthcare and lawn core aeration.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year experience driving a commercial vehicle with a GVW of less than 26,000 lbs.

Possess a Valid Driver’s License and Acceptable MVR for operating a Company Vehicle

Carry and use a smartphone and/or data-enabled device for business communications and reporting

Experience in one of the following is a plus: landscape maintenance, lawn care, landscaping, tree care, golf course maintenance, or working outdoors, but not required. (Preferred not required)

Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Ability to Microsoft Office and Adobe Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access)

Reliable transportation to our office

Must be legally authorized to work in the US

Work Conditions / Essential Functions:

Will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that may also include dust and high-volume noise.

Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods at customer sites/landscapes.

Ability to lift to (50) fifty lbs.

Fast-Paced Work Environment

Travel to and work at various locations including both residential and commercial sites

Flexible working hours, including overtime and occasional weekend work (only in extreme circumstances)

Required to work around heavy equipment and other vehicles regularly
