Xactra Technologies is looking for CNC Turning and Milling Setup/Operator(s) to add to our 1st and 2nd shift staff. Xactra Technologies has been in business for 43 years and is a high-performance manufacturing facility supplying custom, high precision mechanical components and assemblies to the optical industry.

(1st shift Monday through Thursday 6am to 4:30pm with overtime available on Friday from 6am to 11am. 2nd shift Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 2am with overtime available on Friday from 11am to 4pm).

Key Responsibilities

Setup/Operate Multi-Axis Mill Turns and/or Vertical/Horizontal Milling machines.

Load fixture in machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one (1) of the part specific operations which would be noted on job router.

Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics to ensure they meet within part conformance requirements, document measurements on inspection documents.

Seek supervisory help if machine fails, measurements get completely outside limits.

Document on router production, quality & scrap counts daily.

Check to make sure Coolant or Oil levels are at proper function levels.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

CNC machining experience in turning or milling.

Optical Industry experience preferred but not required.

Ability to read GD&T Code

Ability to use all measuring tools.

Materials experience: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Plastics.
