Proud Source Water is looking for a Plant Operations Manager to join our Operations team based in Marianna, Florida, reporting to the Vice President, Plant Operations.

The Plant Operations Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing all plant activity to assure that safety, optimum productivity, efficiency, and material utilization are obtained while conforming to all product quality specifications, standards, and policies in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution of all products. They will also provide leadership that will encourage all personnel to perform to the best of their ability and to develop to their fullest potential.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Safety

Ensure the facility and employees are following all safety protocols per OSHA guidelines.

Quality

Ensure all employees are adhering to GMP guidelines set within the facilities Food Safety System.

Work directly with the Quality team to schedule CIP.

Production Planning

Play a key role in all supply chain planning and attend all weekly meetings.

Logistics and Inventory

Complete and update the weekly Manufacturer Orders per production schedule created by the Director of Supply Chain.

Review the physical cycle count sheet from the WMS, once its verified, input all cycle count data into fishbowl.

Review and reconcile the previous production day work orders.

Confirm and verify the previous production day finished product has been transferred to Quality Hold in Fishbowl, until the Quality Coordinator has approved and released it.

Confirm and verify once finished product has been approved and released by the Quality Coordinator, it has been transferred into finished product location in Fishbowl.

Input and complete KPI by 8:30am Monday-Friday.

Maintenance

Work directly with the Maintenance Manager

Schedule change overs.

Verify preventative maintenance is being performed.

Shift Reports

Handle all production shift scheduling & changes

Ensure that the shift reports are completed

Verify the reports reflect correctly in the WMS and have these manually entered as required.

REQUIREMENTS

5 years experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry and bottled water

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Highly responsible self-starter who takes initiative and ownership

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly developed organization and time-management skills
