Seasonal Stocker & Greeter

Job Description

The Greeter/Stocker will perform the duties of both positions, as it is interchangeable. Greeters will rotate positions with the Stockers throughout their shift.

Greeters are to be at the front doors every second of their shift. They are to greet customers, explain our specials and check receipts after customer purchases for accuracy. Greeters cannot leave their post without letting the floor supervisor know.

Stockers are expected to keep the shelves full, store clean, neat, and organized; help customers with information about the products and where specific products are located. They are also required to keep the exterior area of the store clean and free of garbage and debris.

All employees are expected to clean the store and bathrooms if instructed by management, with no exceptions. Greeters and Stockers will be managed by the Floor Supervisor.

Responsibilities of the Greeter:

• Greet guests as they arrive

• Provide information on our current sales and promotions

• Provide advice or direct guests to the appropriate sales associate

• Help keep track of how many guests we see throughout the day

• Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment by taking out the trash, etc.

• Responsible for gathering and wiping down shopping carts throughout the store and parking lot

• Notify floor manager or security personnel about potential issues

Responsibilities of the Stocker:

• Unload inventory

• Mark sales tags as needed

• Replace damaged items

• Order replacement merchandise and products

• Create a list of items needed to stock the store

• Stock inventory, items, and products

• Make sure stock labels are visible and readable

• Remove and break down empty boxes

• Assist customers as needed

Stocker Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during work hours

• Ability to stand for long periods

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Availability on work nights, weekends, holidays, Entire Season

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Customer service experience a plus

• An understanding of our products and BOGO2

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
