Location: Forest, VA (24551)

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00+ an hour depending on experience and qualifications

Travel is required for this position. We provide lodging expenses, $55 per diem, and the use of a company vehicle. 4-8 days of travel per month is typical (M-F only).

We're hiring a General Laborer in Forest, VA (24551) to play a key role in providing landscaping and maintenance expertise to service our clients' stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. This position is a driving force behind our Stormwater team's success. If you have prior experience in Landscaping, as a Lawn Maintenance Technician, Construction Worker, General Laborer, or Groundskeeper, or if you enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you!

Routine maintenance and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets)

Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties

Operate landscaping and light construction equipment.

Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck. 4-8 days per month is typical (Monday - Friday).What we're looking for:

At least 1 year of experience with outdoor labor (landscaping, lawn maintenance, construction, grounds maintenance and repair, or similar work).

Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screenings. We are a drug-free workplace.

Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.

Willingness to travel.

Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials

Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
