Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join a primary care practice in Tacoma, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to geriatric and adult patient populations. Fluency in Korean is considered a significant bonus, as it will facilitate effective communication and rapport-building with our diverse patient base.

What You'll Do

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients in the geriatric and adult populations.

2. Provide primary care services including routine check-ups, screenings, immunizations, and chronic disease management.

3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

4. Educate patients and their families about preventive care, treatment options, and health maintenance practices.

5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.

6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care and patient outcomes.

7. Adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Who You Are

1. Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.

2. Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Washington.

3. Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) preferred.

4. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a primary care setting, preferably with geriatric and adult populations.

5. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making abilities.

6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

7. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
