Job Title: CNC/VTL Setter/Operator/Programmer

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Salary Range: 15,000 to 30,000 per month

Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC/VTL Setter/Operator/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) machines to produce precision parts. The role requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models to understand the machining process.

Set up CNC machines and VTLs, including adjusting and calibrating equipment to ensure precision.

Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to execute production tasks.

Operate machines to produce parts by turning, milling, drilling, or grinding.

Monitor the output to ensure consistency with specifications and make necessary adjustments.

Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to enhance production efficiency.

Document production data and maintain accurate records for quality control and reporting purposes.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining, or a related field.

Proven experience as a CNC machine operator, setter, or programmer. Experience with VTL is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation, with proficiency in CAD/CAM software.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot during machine operation.
