Responsibilities

The Data Analyst assists the project champion and others in with the following:

Collaborate with internal business units and stakeholders to conduct business, data, metadata, and technology analysis. The work involves identifying data/metadata anomalies, data cleansing and analysis, data architecture and assessing data quality and making improvement recommendations.

Design and execute data testing plans to assure that data meets quality standards. The work involves combining data elements from various resources (spreadsheets, SQL and Access databases) and evaluating data quality and unique identifiers to create mash ups of disparate data sets.

Maintain records of time spent on assigned tasks and provide information as required for project management and other administrative purposes.

The Data Analyst works with most phases of data analysis while considering the business and technical implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Develop and modify moderately complex information;

Analyze data and user needs, document requirements;

Recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts.

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented analytical Data Analyst to support our data-driven systems migration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and programming, along with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret data, as well as develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and pre-process data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.

Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical methods to extract insights from large datasets.

Create and automate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders

Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand business requirements and provide analytical support.

Establish data dictionaries and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) from SQL Server/Access/Excel to Salesforce

Work collaboratively with the third-party implementation partner to develop data migration scripts

Qualifications Required:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of data manipulation, analysis, and visualization techniques.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and manipulation.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to analyze requirements (e.g., business, functional, system) to identify and eliminate ambiguity.

Ability to produce clear and concise technical and non-technical documentation.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; exhibits flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity with the ability to thrive in a rapid business environment; self-starter; and results oriented.

Knowledge of Salesforce and data mapping and migration strategies
