Forklift Operator

Job Description

PrideStaff, a recruiting firm specializing in staffing for Phoenix and Scottsdale businesses, is looking for an experienced forklift operator for a local Phoenix manufacturer. This position will require strong in-person communications skills and a desire to learn. A successful candidate will be very reliable, have recent forklift experience, and be a team player. This is a Mon-Fri first shift.

Must pass math assessment

Schedule: Rotating 223223 schedule/shift - 48 hours one week and 36 hours the following week. Sun-Sat work week.

Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat 7am - 7pm OR 7pm - 7am

Week 2: Sun, Wed, Thur 7am - 7pm OR 7pm - 7am

Responsibilities:

Operate stand-up forklift on a daily basis

Prepare products and materials for shipment

Load, unload, and stage products and materials

Track and record units of materials handled

Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Experience operating forklifts.

Familiarity with manufacturing and shipping & receiving environments

Ability to handle physical workload
