Experienced Manual Power Press Brake Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities

Follow all safety and quality requirements/procedures

Setup and operate power brake press to bend, form, etc., sheet steel of various gauges and specifications.

Make setups independently with minimal assistance from setup person and supervision; subject to first-piece check by quality control.

Operate and perform single or progressive position operation by using simple single purpose dies, or using combination, compound, and progressive dies and setting multiple gates or stops.

Perform other related or similar duties as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequent exposure to fumes, sparks, noise, grease, and oil.
