The Department:

We are responsible for identifying the risks that we face and provide advice on them. We design and implement privacy controls to protect the business from those risks and monitor and report on the effectiveness of the controls in the management of our exposure to risks. We resolve compliance difficulties as they occur and advise the business on licensing regulations, rules and controls where necessary, with a strong emphasis on product. Purpose:

The Privacy Programme Specialist acts as support of the Privacy Programme manager within the Spin Data Protection Team. The specialist works closely with different stakeholders, is customer focused. Our work requires vigilance, understanding, empathy and brand integrity along with a focus on the bottom line whilst ensuring that everything we do is for the love of the game. Duties will include, but not limited to:

Maintaining industry guidelines, technical documents, and related policies.

Maintaining relevant data sets within i.e. RisKonnect and OneTrust.

Writing technical documentation for implemented software in the Data Protection Team.

Preparing Data Protection Trainings as part of the Privacy Programme.

Working on and implementing a Privacy by Design Framework in the business

Defining and advising project objectives for privacy by design and default

The management of key stakeholders and business owners required to deliver appropriate business and technical controls

Managing strategy creation in the subject matter

Assisting in identifying risks relating to personal data and the business

Assisting in the life cycle protection

Creating internal records and logs of control status.

Creating and maintaining documented processes, procedures and training materials for staff education and awareness across the group

Working closely with the IT/IS, DevOps, Architecture and other teams.

Being a proactive advocate and brand ambassador of the Privacy Programme across the business and push for the delivery of its objectives.

Holding standards and protocols for audit obligations.

Essential Criteria:

Relevant degree such as in Law, Regulation or IT-related.

Knowledge of working in RisKonnect and/ or OneTrust.

Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO27001/2.

Knowledge of wider regulatory requirements such as NIST, IAPP-Privacy Programme framework, gambling regulation, AML regulations, ISO 31700.

Knowledge of data governance best practices.

Ability to create and document operational processes and procedures.

Eagerness and willingness to learn new topics.

Keen on working in Teams.

Eager in creation of relevant documentation.

Eager in monitoring data protection controls and identification of risks.

Desirable Criteria:

Good understanding of project and programme methodologies.

Ability to be creative and able to find innovative solutions to problems.
