What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Public Relations and Communications, the Social Media Specialist at Zafin plays a pivotal role in steering our online presence across diverse platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Meta, YouTube, Instagram and Podcasts. In this dynamic, hands-on position, you will be instrumental in driving high levels of web traffic, enhancing brand awareness and fostering engagement with various stakeholders, including customers, prospects, partners, potential candidates. As a seasoned social expert, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as demand generation, creative, brand, ecosystem, public relations, influencers, thought leadership and product marketing team to design social strategies, produce compelling content, analyze usage data as well as contribute to marketing campaigns. You are a highly motivated, creative individual who is committed to all things social and will amplify Zafin across all platforms in a consistent and impactful way.

What will you do?

Develop and execute the organic social media strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and departmental key performance indicators.

Create a robust social media content plan and calendar, incorporating input from key stakeholders to establish a unified and coherent social presence across platforms.

Lead the social content development process, collaborating with communications, demand generation, brand, and creative teams to produce timely, on-brand, and platform-relevant content.

Conduct competitive and platform analysis, staying abreast of the dynamic social media ecosystem. Leverage benchmarks, best practices, and innovative ideas to advance our organizational strategy.

Collaborate with demand generation to optimize and manage paid media spend, driving engagement, building mindshare, and delivering strong campaign results.

Act as an administrator of the organic social budget, including boosting content, influencer marketing, and other social-led activations.

Conduct analysis and report on campaign effectiveness, social platform performance, brand awareness, monitor SEO, web traffic, and customer engagement.

Generate, edit, and publish content on multiple social channels, ensuring alignment with the brand voice, tone, and message consistency to optimize copy.

Contribute to SEO long-format content (blogs, sales emails, landing pages, etc.) to support search efforts and content strategy.

Stay abreast of new trends, best practices, social partners, tools, and technology.

What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Formal training or certifications in digital marketing, with a focus on social media marketing strategies and best practices.

Demonstrated proficiency through certifications from reputable organizations like Hootsuite, HubSpot, Google Adwords is preferred.

id understanding of data analysis and reporting, preferably with a Google Analytics certification. Ability to derive insights and optimize strategies based on performance metrics.

Experience in organic and paid campaigns across social media platforms.

Must have experience in developing SaaS technology brand either in-house or at an agency.

Possess a proven track record of owning all aspects of social media marketing and running successful campaigns.

Proven ability to build and grow large social media communities.

Experience with live-streaming tools, video content creation and social listening.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and produce results under pressure.

Strong understanding of audience segmentation, targeting and optimization.

Extreme attention to detail with relentlessly high standards.

Excellent content and copywriting skills; strong written and verbal English communication.

A natural storyteller, able to mix words and images to make compelling content.

Ability to work under tight timelines and juggle multiple projects at any given time.

Flexibility: This role demands social listening and responding to our community in a reasonable and timely manner. While we don’t expect you to be always on, this is not a 9-5 role. Periodic weekend event coverage may be necessary.
