Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and issue daily and weekly production schedules based on supply plan and line capacity.

Generate and issue work orders daily to align with production needs.

Monitor, track, and update supply and inventory plans, ensuring timely execution.

Collaborate with supply chain teams and internal/external manufacturing sites to address supply challenges.

Proactively assess material supply and adjust schedules to prevent disruptions.

Ensure prompt communication of schedules to supervisors and promptly resolve discrepancies.

Review schedule performance in daily meetings with the Production Manager.

Provide weekly reports on schedule adherence and attainment.

Resolve scheduling issues directly with staff and collaborate with material planners to meet supply requirements.

Document downtime, production peaks, and scheduling accuracy for continuous improvement.

Implement phase-in and phase-out plans for new products or changes, supporting innovation efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in production scheduling within manufacturing.

Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple departments.

Understanding of supply chain performance metrics and improvement strategies.

CPIM or CSCP certifications from APICS preferred.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
