PIC Civil Engineer

PROJECT IN CHARGE JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Responsible for site coordination, management, safety, working condition and control of site work organization and meet project deadlines

2. Conducts site monitoring and inspection of contractors’ activities to evaluate daily accomplishments

3. Monitoring progress of the construction in relation to programmed time table and evaluate work executed in accordance with the project specification and design

4. Monitoring progress of implementation

5. Coordinating with Project Manager and sub-contractors on work assignment, work progress and creating solutions of problems in the construction site

6. Checking and reviewing of building plans

7. Preparing site progress reports and project schedule

8. Reports to Project Manager

9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

10. Schedule and attend meetings, issuing agendas, meeting request, reserving resources

11. Provide reports for billing purposes

12. Maintain all relevant project documentations, org charts, calendars and reports

13. Manage the project as needed while project manager is off site

14. Assist in the project closeout by managing punch list and closeout logs, compiling turnover package and submitting the contract closeout to the owner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or any Engineering course or equivalent

2. At least (2) two years work-related experience in construction as project in-charge or project officer

3. Experience in actual site supervision in construction is an advantage

4. Experience in handling crew/construction workers with good leadership is an advantage

5. Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with operations personnel, finance and other departments.

6. Can work efficiently with minimal supervision

7. Can deliver results fast and accurate
