Our client is looking for a forward-looking, proactive, and collaborative Executive Assistant in the DC-Metro area for this hybrid work position.

As the Executive Assistant at CJR Group, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to our managing partners. Your responsibilities will encompass efficient calendar and email management, ensuring seamless communication flow within and outside the organization, adeptly handling written communication tasks, and offering essential calendar support to optimize scheduling. Your contributions will extend beyond individual support to bolster the effectiveness of the entire team. With your organizational prowess and exceptional communication skills, you will serve as a vital liaison, facilitating smooth operations and enabling our managing partners to focus on strategic objectives.

YOUR EXPECTATIONS:

Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events for managing partners.

Prioritize and coordinate incoming emails, correspondence, and requests.

Ensure effective communication flow by disseminating important information to relevant parties.

Draft, proofread, and edit various written materials such as emails, reports, and presentations.

Assist in the preparation of documents and materials for meetings and presentations.

Conduct research and gather information as needed to support managing partners' projects and initiatives.

Provide administrative support to the managing partners, including travel arrangements, expense tracking, and file organization.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities and deadlines.

Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, redirecting them as appropriate

Proactively identify and address potential scheduling conflicts or issues.

Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in administrative tasks.

Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Mitigate conflicts between personal and professional calendar commitments.

Coordinate speaking arrangements/events, including personal preparation appointments.

Ability to successfully adapt to diverse people and situations, manage conflict, proactively resolve issues, and complete assignments on time.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

These are some of the required skills and experiences you’ll need for success in this role:

Bachelor’s degree required.

2-3 years of previous experience as an executive assistant.

Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with all Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.

Ability to handle confidential material in an appropriately discrete and confidential manner.

Strong time management and multitasking skills.

Ability to work quickly under pressure.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to act as a gatekeeper, determining which information needs to be received by upper management.

Experience with Virtual tools, such as Zoom.
