Bartender (Primer Coffee & Spirits)

BARTENDER

Primer is looking for a skilled and dynamic bartender to join our team at Canvas @ Valor Acres. The bartender will be responsible for crafting and serving a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring an exceptional bar experience.

This is an hourly position, that does not include benefits.

A typical day looks like:

Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences

Providing outstanding customer service by greeting, taking orders, and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner

Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies

Handling cash transactions and process payments accurately

Monitoring customer consumption to prevent overindulgence and ensure responsible drinking

Collaborating with the “Foodie/Barback” to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers.

Creating and executing creative drink specials and themed nights to attract customers

Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and maintain a sanitary work environment

Upselling and promoting additional menu items and beverages

Handling customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns

Do you have what it takes?

Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of drink preparation techniques, mixology, and cocktail recipes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.

Must be of legal drinking age.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Must be able to push, pull, and/or safely lift up to 50lbs
