Job Description

Salary: $17.00+ based on experience

Job Description:

Do you enjoy working with a close-knit team? Would you like to be a part of a small company in Maryland that feels like family? We just may be the home you’re looking for! We are always looking for warm, positive, and engaging individuals to join our Team!

Larmax Homes specializes in care for older adults living with dementia. Each of our homes is small and intimate, with only 8 residents per home. Because they love working directly with people, our Med Techs and CNAs work together on the floor to provide the best quality of care for our residents. To share the work, Larmax has three staff working together each day and, in addition to giving care, staff has the opportunity to assist with engagement and meals as well as working with our families.

Benefits:

Paid Sick & Safe hours accrued for every hour worked

401(k) retirement plan (eligible after a year of service and 1,000 hours worked)

Time and a half if scheduled to work for any of the 6 company holidays

One week's paid vacation for the first three years of employment and two weeks thereafter if you are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. (A “week” is the number of hours the employee is regularly scheduled to work in a week.)

Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options (for employees who average at least 30 hours per week over the prior 12-month period).

Flexible Schedule:

11 and 12 hour shifts available on weekends and weekdays

12 hour overnight shifts Med Techs only (weekends and weekdays)

All homes are located in Bethesda, Maryland

Education/Special Training Required:

High School Diploma

CNA License preferred (but we will train our direct care staff that have prior experience)

Experience with the direct care of the elderly, preferably in a group setting rather than private duty

Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication

Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Word and email) and the ability to learn new applications

Because of the fragile nature of our wonderful residents, we require that all of our staff are vaccinated for COVID-19 and strongly encourage boosters and flu shots.
