Surrounded by vineyards, Michelin-star restaurants and exquisite views in Yountville, our 22-acre haven sits among one the most coveted viticulture regions in the world. JOB SUMMARY:

The Reservations Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling room reservations for the hotel. This role plays a crucial part in maximizing room revenue and ensuring a seamless booking experience for our guests. The Reservations Agent should be knowledgeable about the hotel's services, facilities, and operational hours to assist guests effectively.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promptly answer all incoming calls in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.

Address guest inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and operational hours with accuracy and enthusiasm.

Book room reservations, ensuring the use of standard company rate quoting scenarios to maximize room revenue.

Provide guests with information on available room types, rates, and any special packages or discounts.

Collaborate closely with the Sales Department to handle group bookings effectively.

Communicate reservation details, requirements, and special requests to ensure group bookings run smoothly.

Handle special reservations, including V.I.P. reservations, packages, and discounts, with a personalized and attentive approach.

Ensure that special requests are fulfilled to enhance the guest's experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a reservations or customer service role is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in using reservation software and computer systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and courteous demeanor.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
