Summary
The ideal candidate will create visually appealing design displays in retail stores and F&B retail outlets. Using their design and innovative skills to enable high-quality visual styling that adheres to the guidelines of the brand and its sales objectives. Whether it’s increasing brand awareness or sales, the visual merchandiser will work around window and in store displays to attract the customer to the merchandise and provide an outstanding shopping experience.
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
Daily Operations
1. Create and execute the best visual merchandising strategy for the retail and Food and Beverage outlets.
2. Ensure that the strategy complies with brand standards and the needs of guests and members.
3. Monitor the designs so that the visual display designs are in tune with the sales and marketing objectives.
4. Generate effective visual merchandising which is a balance between creative and functional.
5. Stay on top of retail merchandising display trends.
6. Create and monitor the entire lifecycle of the visual merchandising experience, keeping in mind marketing goals.
7. Understand and analyze the psyche of our guests and members to curate more effective merchandising.
8. Assess and gauge the effectiveness of a given visual merchandise and edit/tweak it as needed.
9. Keep track of store inventory and make sure that the visual merchandising is displayed effectively.
10. Ensure a safe work environment and provide outstanding customer service.
11. Monitor costs for projects and ensure that the visual merchandising stays within the proposed budgets.
12. Collaborate and coordinate with retail managers, ensuring stores are adequately stocked and maintained.
13. Install and set-up displays keeping in mind the current visual styling trends.
14. Communicates opportunities/concerns to supervisor.
Guest Services
1. Convey a favorable image of the organization by projecting a positive, professional appearance and demeanor to our guests.
2. Participate in increasing the percentage of return guests by listening to and fulfilling their needs with a caring and responsive attitude.
3. Provide exceptional and efficient guest service when interacting with guests and use effective up-selling techniques.
4. Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding the company’s products and activations and communicates accurately to guests and members.
5. Provide a safe and secure environment for both our guests and colleagues by knowing and assisting in safety and emergency procedures.
6. Understands and utilizes sanitation practices and report any accidents to management.
7. Provide a cooperative attitude to fellow co-workers including employees in all other outlets.
8. Answer the phone in three rings with a friendly voice using professional telephone techniques and etiquette.
9. Assist in loss prevention by practicing proper security safeguards as outlined during training.
Reporting/Administrative Duties
1. Undertake other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
2. Maintain an efficient record of guests’ requests, complaints, and comments and inform management.
3. Meet daily with supervisor to review daily events and items of importance for the day.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Cross train in all retail outlets in order to provide coverage during break times and assigned shifts
2. Always maintain a clean and professional work environment.
3. Attend monthly departmental meetings

Frequent interaction with members, guests and associates.

Qualifications:
1. Outstanding creative, design, and analytical skills.
2. Solid experience as a visual merchandiser with a strong retail merchandising portfolio.
3. Keen interest in the current trends of visual merchandising
4. Professional appearance, well-groomed within company guidelines.
5. Proficient computer skills, with knowledge of POS Systems
6. Outstanding listening and implementing skills.
7. Excellent organizational and time management, decision-making and planning skills.
8. Able to multi-task and maintain upbeat and positive working relationships while providing excellent guest service.
9. Ability to be a team player and a leader given the time and task.

1. The incumbent should be able to stand continuously for 8 hours.
2. Should be able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
