The Property Manager is the primary driver of success at each Stayable Suites property. A remarkable Property Manager drives performance with discipline, positivity, creativity, and empowerment. Compensation
Starts at $60,000 annually
Stayable Suites strives to offer fair, equitable, and competitive compensation to all team members. All team members shall be considered equally without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
This is an exempt, salaried position that may require long and non-traditional working hours. Property Managers have multiple opportunities for bonuses. The salary will be adjusted based on experience, cost of living, and contribution to the property’s success.
Responsibilities
The Property Manager is generally responsible for delivering an exceptional product for guest service, property condition, and team engagement. They also ensure that the operation runs efficiently, and problems are communicated and handled quickly. Below is a summary of primary responsibilities.
Property Condition
Inspect rooms before, during, and after a guest’s stay
Direct ongoing preventative maintenance
Maintain a low out-of-order room count
Assign and track guest and team maintenance tickets
Respond to emergency maintenance issues
Coordinate security, housekeeping, groundskeeping, laundry, and maintenance
Ensure that curb appeal is kept to the highest standard
People
Recruit and train the best team in the industry
Assess and coach team members in alignment with their Career Success Profiles
Hold team accountable using Daily Huddles and monthly Alignment Meetings
Ensure the team is dressed appropriately for their assigned work
Establish weekly schedules based on arrivals, departures, and special projects
Monitor for attendance and time punch compliance
Guest Service
Build professional relationships with all guests
Encourage positive reviews and guest referrals
Model a welcoming and service-oriented disposition for all team members
Enforce Stayable Suites’ Rules & Regulations to keep all guests safe and happy
Administration
Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Prepare, post, and follow up on violation notices
Implement new objectives and procedures
Ensure timely and accurate completion of team member paperwork and time punches
Respond quickly to requests for information from regional and corporate teams
Prepare and file incident reports as needed
Maintain an accurate inventory and prepare purchase orders
Expectations
This is an important, high-profile position within the company. Property Managers deliver the physical product in a way that nobody else in the organization can. Further, they are responsible for the engagement and livelihoods of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team. Therefore, we have high expectations for achieving clear, measurable performance objectives.
Below are the minimum expectations for a Property Manager to be successful in their position.
Property Condition
Inspect every room on the day of arrival, day of departure, after the room is made ready, and once per month while the guest is in-house
Minimize out-of-order rooms to an acceptable range (3–5-day turnaround time)
Maintain superior quality scores based on scheduled and unannounced Quality Assessments and guest reviews
Team Engagement
Hire and retain people that live our values and contribute to our culture
Achieve industry-leading retention targets
Maintain strong attendance and time punch compliance
Align with direct reports and supervisor by executing meeting cadence with fidelity
General
Act as a role model for everyone on the property
Execute all policies and procedures with fidelity
Report issues immediately to discuss and solve them quickly
