Job Description

**PART-TIME 20 - 30 HOURS PER WEEK**

Review and acceptance of AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation

Possess basic auditing skills

Metrology

Common gages and measurement instruments

Special gages and applications

Surface plate tools and techniques

Specialized inspection equipment

Calibration

MSA: Measurement system analysis (Gage R&R)

Technical Math

Basic shop math

Measurement systems (units and conversion)

Numeric conversions (decimals, fractions, scientific notation)

Desired Skills and Experience:

Electrical/Pneumatic/Hydraulic: Verifies completed product to purchase order, drawing, testing, and associated specifications. Ability to adequately inspect Aerospace level electronic and electromechanical components and assemblies. Includes CCA or PWB for industry specifications such as J-STD-001 and IPC 610. Previous experience in manufacturing testing and inspecting industrial electronic and electromechanical products.

Mechanical/Other: Verifies completed product to purchase order, drawing, testing, and associated specifications. Ability to adequately inspect Aerospace level mechanical components and assemblies including welded and machined parts for compliance with industry and LM specifications. Knowledge of standard inspection tools to include CMMs is required. Previous machine shop experience, final inspections, and Aerospace products.

Related Skills: Include but not limited to Complex Electrical, Power Supply, Printed Circuit Board (PWB), Printed Wiring Assemblies (PWA), Radio Frequency, Soldering, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Weld/Braze, Heat treat, Composites, Optics, Manufacturing, Liquid Penetrant, Radiography, Ultrasonic, Mag Particle, Visual, Eddy Current, Surface Mount Technology, Polymerics, Drawings, Specifications, and Testing procedures. Review and acceptance of AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation.

Required Education (including certifications):

High School Diploma or GED

Valid drivers license and auto insurance required

Preferred Education and Skills (including certifications):

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Inspection certifications or related college courses

Team-minded, communicative, proactive, stress-resistant, assertive

Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Pay Range: $18 - $22 hourly, please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Trigo considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Productivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.

Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.

Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.

Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers.

Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.

The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
