Experienced Cookie Baker/Decorator

European style bakery café is currently looking for a talented and passionate Cookie Baker/Decorator to join our team.

Job Description:

Mix, prep and bake various types of cookies, brownies, blondies, biscottis, etc.

Proficient in decorating cookies using royal icing.

Able to follow recipes precisely.

Identify and safely use all bakery equipment.

Read, measure, and execute recipes to include conversion capabilities.

Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Perform all other job-related duties as required.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen station and work area.

Ability to manage time effectively.

Requirements:

An eye for details.

At least 2 year of relative baking experience.

Comfortable with preparing and working with royal icing.

Motivated and eager to learn, with high standards for product quality.

Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Ability to work weekends and early mornings.

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral form.

Commensurate with experience.

Full-Time
