Location: 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.Hybrid Eligible: After training, this position offers hybrid remote work options.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with managers, regional leaders, and supervisors on employee relations issues, performance management, and policy guidance.

Provide interpretation and guidance on HR policies and regulations to ensure fair and consistent application.

Lead investigations into complex issues such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, recommending appropriate actions.

Respond to employee complaints promptly and escalate critical issues as needed.

Review of background and drug-test discrepancies; providing guidance to supervisors on the continued employability of the impacted employee, in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.

Partner in the preparation of responses to external charges of discrimination

Assist with unemployment claims responses; obtain needed information, provide all required responses, ensure responses are filed, and participate in unemployment claims hearings.

Monitor legislative updates and changes to employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance with policies and practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field required.

Seven years of demonstrated comparable HR-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

At least 5 years of experience in an employee relations role or in a role focused on the resolution of employee relations matters required.

Experience with state and federal employment, wage, and hour laws and regulations required.

Experience serving a large population of employees at a multistate employer.

Professional certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP highly preferred

Experience coaching supervisors or conducting investigations highly preferred.

Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
