We are looking for a Controller that will be excited to take responsibility for an accounting department in a fast-paced, extremely successful manufacturing company in the Charlotte, NC area. Planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and hands-on managing of departmental staff will be essential for this role. We are searching for candidates who can effectively manage self and others within strict time constraints, lead while also being a team player, generate innovative ideas, and challenge the status quo, will be successful in position. General Ledger Entries

Preparing P&L Statements

Preparing Income Statements

Sales Tax

Corporate Tax Filings - Federal, State, Property, Payroll

Trends analysis

Variance Analysis

Balance Sheets

Asset Management

Month & Year-End Reporting

Accounting software and ERP Systems experience

Must be able to pass a credit check, background check, and drug screen

Requirements:

· Bachelor of Science in Accounting or business or equivalent work experience.

· At least eight years’ accounting experience required.

· At least three years’ supervisory experience required.

· Advanced knowledge of GAAPs, journal entries, and proficiency with accounting software and ERP Systems.

· Prepare Profit & Loss Statement, and Income Statements.

· Experienced with General Ledger entries, Journal Entries, Trends, Variance Analysis, Balance Sheets, Asset Management, month-end and year-end reporting.

· Experienced with filing corporate taxes – Federal, State, Property, Sales and Payroll.

· Detail oriented, highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules and changing deadlines and priorities.

· Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Excellent organizational and accuracy skills.

· Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office programs.

· Able to work in an upbeat fast-paced environment.

· Candidates will be required to complete background and drug screenings prior to hire.
