Structural Engineer

We have an amazing opportunity for a Structural Engineer based in South Africa Type: Job Advertisement Industry: Engineering / Civil Engineering Level: Experienced Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Proven experience as a Structural Engineer specializing in bridges and culverts.

Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design, and detailing principles.

Expertise in the use of structural engineering software.

Experience in designing various types of bridges and culverts, including reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and composite structures.

Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards.

Ability to conduct site inspections, structural assessments, and feasibility studies for bridge and culvert projects.

Proficiency in preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to propose innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration or eligibility for registration preferred.

Personal Attributes: Highly analytical and detail-oriented.

Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
