The CA Assistant Community Relations & Service Manager works with the CA Community Relations & Service Manager to evaluate, direct and implement strategies that support the growth and awareness goals of California.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Coordinate, implement, and measure results from Community and Business Development Relationship initiatives that support CEFCU’s California brand and product growth objectives.

* Identify business development and community event opportunities that will increase awareness, market share, membership and support book of business growth.

* Direct and oversee the Business/Community Development staff to increase new member account relationships among Select Employee Groups (SEGs).

* Lead and direct activities through establishing objectives and staff development.

The CA Assistant Community Relations & Service Manager is also responsible for providing insight as to the development, execution, and implementation of strategies that rely on data mining to generate loan/lead sources across all product lines. This individual will help lead initiatives that leverage data from all remote delivery platforms and will focus on lead conversion and new loan acquisition. In addition, the CA Assistant Community Relations & Service Manager will provide support with all aspects of the overall management of the Business/Community Development Representative staff, along with Mortgage Loan Originators, and Member Relationship/Leads Development staff.

Availability to work on weekends for Business Development events is required.

The annual salary for new hires is $95,198.

Required:

Associate’s Degree or 60 hours towards a Bachelor’s Degree, or the equivalent combination of related training, education, and experience.

Three to four years of management, business development, or other related experience.

Minimum of two years of consumer lending experience that includes some lending authority.

Experience with public speaking and giving formal presentations.

Must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle insurance.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent work or educational experience in lending, digital services.

Two years of mortgage lending experience.

One to two years of management experience, preferably with a financial institution or business development related position.

Three years previous experience with a financial institution.

Ability to develop and train employees to accomplish identified production goals and objectives.

Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Proven history of achieving objectives in an operational and sales environment through effective communication and leadership.

Excellent math skills with a high degree of accuracy.

Successful completion of the Management Development Program, Western CUNA Management School, or other regionally required management training.
