Duties:

Providing haircutting & hairstyling services to clients

Providing hair coloring services to clients

Providing support to designers during hair collections & shows

Assisting in Marketing efforts to grow the client base by contributing to the salon’s social media content and industry-related events

Applicant Requirement

Applicants must submit a resume & cover letter

Applicants must provide references

Applicant must submit a portfolio of their work

Applicants must have a valid NYC Cosmetology License

Applicant should have strong color experience

Previous experience as a Stylist is required

Applicant must have completed the Barbecide Certification

Applicants must display our 4 pillars: Community: dedicate hours to community services, Education: must take at least 20 hrs of continued education, Integrity: doing things with passion, Inclusivity: comfortable with working on diverse textures of hair

Guaranteed $18-20/hour ramping up to commission, depending on experience. With the opportunity to earn more with commission on service & retail sales.
