Rosedale Technical College, named one of the best places to work in Western PA by the Pittsburgh Business Times for over 10 years, is currently expanding and has an opportunity for a Financial Aid Officer to join our team.
The Financial Aid Officer's responsibilities include:
Assist with the financial aid process from development through completion.
Work with current students and their families to ensure their needs are being met in regards to their financial aid
Provide outstanding customer service to prospective students and their parents.
Maintain organized paperwork for all completed files and applications in progress.
Diligence in complying with regulations and policies.
Understand requirements and operation of Title IV and state financial aid programs.
Successful candidates for the Financial Aid Officer position will have the following:
Two year degree or higher in any related field
Belief in Rosedale’s career training mission
High accuracy with data and computer software skills
Diligence in complying with regulations and procedures
Customer service oriented
Proactive with a sense of urgency
Desire to learn and a desire to help students
Ability to work collaboratively with team members
Friendly, energetic and enthusiastic personality
Strong communication skills
Financial aid experience helpful, but not required. The individual will be trained in regulations and procedures.
