Accountant

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

Accounting up to Trial Balance (preferable XERO or Sage One Accounting)

VAT201s and VAT Reconciliations

Payroll up to reconciliation EMP201 and EMP501s (Simplepay)

SARS:

VAT and other registrations

PAYE and UIF registrations

Income tax, provisional tax and other submissions

Disputes

SARS meetings to settle disputes and submit registration documents

SARS compromise agreements

Financial statements preparation (preferably CaseWare) advantageous

Education:

Completed BCom in Accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed SAIPA articles

Minimum of 3 years in a similar role/accounting background

ERP experience in XERO, Sage One, Simplepay, CaseWare

Strong Advanced Excel skills

Attention to detail

Effective communication skills

Organizational skills
