Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate CNC horizontal milling machines

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary

Collaborate with engineers and production team to ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and troubleshoot any issues

Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools

Essential Job Functions:

Experience with CNC machining, specifically in horizontal milling

Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings

Knowledge of MasterCAM software preferred

Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, HAAS, and Milltronics

G&L boring mill experience is a plus

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

Salary: $20 to $30 per hour depending on skills and experience
