Must have former Military or Civilian Postal Service experience. Must have working knowledge of
military and Post Office rules and regulations regarding money order service, acceptability of mail
matter, wrapping, packing, addressing, records, reports, postal rates and fees, size and weight
limitations, endorsements as to contents, registry and insurance and certified mail services, and
special delivery and special handling services. Must have working knowledge of rules, regulations,
and procedures involved in processing claims and inquiries concerning loss, destruction, and
mishandling of mail, mail distribution and dispatch systems. Must be capable of assisting the Postal
Officer in all postal activities. Must be able to provide leadership to organize, control, coordinate and
supervise operation of an APO or APO unit, as needed. Must be able to perform supervision of
customs inspections conducted by custom agencies. Completes a variety of mail handling and
support services tasks as assigned. Responsible for picking up mail from military post offices,
transporting, sorting, and delivering letter mail and packages to contractors and subcontractors at a site
or multiple camps within a project. Obtains personal letter and package mail and company intradepartmental
courier packages for distribution to respective contractors, subcontractors, or departments.
Works closely with Human Resources to maintain accurate and up to date rosters of contractor and
subcontract personnel assigned to the site or project to comply with military postal regulations and audits.
Completes job functions in accordance with all applicable requirements.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance
with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace
to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee
will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate
level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Basic Job Requirements
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience,
and two (2) years to five (5) years related experience. Requires the job knowledge, skill level and
physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Requires a valid U.S. passport and valid
U.S. state driver's license.
Must be postal services qualified.
High school diploma / GED equivalent.

Meet USPS and DoD requirements
for handling of sensitive material. Excellent customer service skills. Licensed to operate a vehicle if
transporting mail. Be physically able to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 70 pounds. Favorable
background check at a minimum. Perform postal services IAW DoD 4525.6-M, DoD 4525.6-C, DODI
4525.7, and the USPS policies and regulations contained therein. Perform official mail services IAW
DoDI 4525.08 and DOD 4525.8-M, and the USPS policies and regulations contained therein. Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of other Automated Data (ADP) processing equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior contingency or military experience preferred.
