Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community. For 75 years our mission has been to be a Christ-centered community providing life-enriching services. Working in our Maintenance department will give you the opportunity to do a variety of duties related to building maintenance. You will also assist other Maintenance personnel as work orders are received and projects are assigned by the Building Maintenance supervisor. Three years' experience in building maintenance or journeyman equivalent certification in a related trade is preferred. Must possess a valid Oregon driver's license and be compliant with insurance requirements. Shift will be Monday-Friday Days. Starts at $19.00-$20.76.
Physical requirements include:
Ability to perform heavy lifting and carrying of up to 100 lbs.
Ability to move frequently during the workday, including lifting, carrying, walking standing, sitting, bending, reaching, twisting, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and working from ladders.
May be exposed to heat and/or cold temperatures.
May be exposed to odors, dust, disinfectants, and other air contaminants throughout the day.
Ability to hear, see, feel, and smell within normal limits.
