Job Summary:

This role requires superior organization and planning skills to examine customer orders for on-time delivery. Reporting to the Production Planner, they will be responsible for assisting with setting manufacturing schedule goals across the Elite Sportswear brands. They will distribute production orders across a variety of facilities by order type. The scheduler will assist with adjusting schedules in response to backlog or bottle necks. They will assist with identifying opportunities to make processes more cost efficient through effective scheduling.

Education & Experience

0-4 years of manufacturing and scheduling experience in a multi-facility environment.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus.

Experience in ERP systems, M3 Infor ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Assists with development of production schedule based on forecast and customer orders that will ensure complete and on time delivery.

Assists with development of production plans for multiple manufacturing/assembly sites.

Reviews the production schedule for facilities daily, and looks for changes in customer requirements, delay in receiving raw materials, availability of production equipment and manpower; reports any changes in the schedule to appropriate party.

Reviews monthly forecasts and adjusts schedules accordingly.

Communicates with departments on production status to determine progress of assigned production and schedule attainments.

Maintains data integrity within ERP system.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and written.

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Proficient in MS Excel, including spreadsheet creation and manipulation.

Physical Demands:

Manual dexterity of fingers and hands to use keyboard and office equipment.
