Heads Up Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LED Light Manufacturing Production (Cell) Lead to join our manufacturing team. This position will play a critical role in overseeing the production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving efficiency in our LED light manufacturing facility. Key Details:

Work Location: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Location: This is a full-time onsite position located in Addison, TX.

Compensation: $22-$26/hour based on experience and comprehensive benefits package.

Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you’ll do

Production Oversight:

o Supervise and coordinate all activities related to LED light assembly manufacturing.

o Ensure adherence to production schedules and deadlines.

o Monitor and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

o Oversee and occasionally conduct soldering of electronic components, including LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and other related components onto PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) to assemble LED lighting products.

Team Leadership:

o Lead and motivate a team of production workers to meet production goals.

o Provide training and guidance to ensure team members are skilled and knowledgeable in their roles.

o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

o Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to troubleshoot and resolve soldering-related issues that may arise during the production process.

Quality Assurance:

o Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the production of high-quality LED lights.

o Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement in the production process.

o Collaborate with the quality control team to address and resolve any issues affecting product quality.

Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.

o Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Health and Safety:

o Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the production facility.

o Address and resolve any safety concerns promptly.

What will make you successful in this role (skills)

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role, preferably in LED light manufacturing.

· Familiarity with various soldering techniques, such as through-hole and surface-mount soldering.

· Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and inventory management

· Excellent leadership and communication skills.

· Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.

· Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

· Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

· Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field a plus.

· Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing techniques.

· Familiarity with ERP systems for production planning and control.

· Experience in implementing and managing sustainable manufacturing practices.
