RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform Residential or Commercial property inspections according to the provided guidelines

Follow inspection procedures for onsite inspection of the systems and components of existing homes

Walk the exterior and interior of the homes

Access and inspect unfinished spaces

Evaluate the home deficiencies including, but not limited to: site issues, building materials and the conditions, health and human safety items, physical and structural conditions

Complete Inspection Checklist and requisition reporting

Address the concerns of the client

Provide detailed descriptionsRequirements:

Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client’s site access clearance

4-6 years of working in or around the residential or commercial construction field

Experience in building inspection and code compliance

A license in architecture or engineering

Good standing license in General Contracting in the registered state(s)

International Code Council Certification (preferred)

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Excellent time and task management skills

Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Willing to travel

Valid Driver’s License

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Bachelor’s in Architecture or in a related field (NAAB and/or CACB accredited)

Home Inspection License or Certification

InterNachi Certification
