We have been engaged by one of our long-standing client partners to assist in their search for a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Litigation Legal Assistant.

In this role, you'll support the legal team by preparing documents, overseeing document flow, and handling administrative duties.

Tasks involve transcribing, formatting, and organizing data, drafting legal paperwork, managing schedules, liaising with clients, and tracking court dates and filings.

Desired qualifications include adeptness in document management, superb organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and efficient task prioritization. Prior experience with e-filing and knowledge of legal procedures are advantageous.

Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience required.

High school diploma or GED certification is necessary.

Proficiency in e-filing within both State (NJ/NY) and Federal courts is essential.

Familiarity with NetDocuments or equivalent document management software is preferred.

Experience with SurePoint or similar billing software is required.

Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Outlook; adeptness in quickly mastering new applications.

Familiarity with digital dictation is advantageous; training available if needed.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.

Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively and accurately.

Excellent professional communication skills are required.
