Worley is currently recruiting for an E&I General Foreman for fixed term contract.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our offshore team on the Jade.
Key aims and objectives:
Assist in ensuring all Project / Company HSEQ goals are achieved and where possible exceeded
Ensure all Construction personnel are aware of safe working practices / procedures and are provided with a safe working environment
Effective liaison with any Client and / or Sub-Contractor / Vendor representatives
Deliver a high standard Construction service to the Project, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach is implemented at all times
Implement a continuous improvement philosophy across all Construction activities, delivering best practices at all times
Manage, support and develop Construction personnel
Role Requirements:
Plan / supervise and support of day-to-day Construction activities / personnel in the safe and structured delivery of the work scope and processes, ensuring all applicable site / Project safety procedures are fully and properly implemented
Demonstrate visible safety leadership by example and communication with teams
Provide support to Construction personnel, ensuring all are competent and possess the required skills
Actively participate in all Company and Project safety initiatives
Manage / monitor workforce start / break / finish times and ensure they are focused on the safe execution of their work scope when present on site, in accordance with site procedures
Monitor the quality of executed work and manage / escalate sub-quality work to Foreman
Provide a link between the Management, Union Representatives and the Project workforce – site / Project/ safety updates, meetings, management safety tours, photographic progress etc.
Supervise / conduct tool-box-talks when required
Attend / input in Project meetings when required
Liaise with site Control of Work personnel to ensure daily work permits are issued and any issues are resolved
Coordinate site resource / tooling / equipment requirements to ensure Construction workscopes are executed in line with schedule requirements – ie lighting, grit, etc
Coordinate transport between welfare facilities and site, if required
Ensure welfare facilities are maintained in line with Project / CDM requirements
Monitor barrier management and ensure barrier owners adhere to Project / site barrier procedures
Liaise with Project personnel to identify and deliver early Construction Project gains
Ensure Foremen submit accurate workforce timesheets on schedule. Any personnel not captured on a Foreman’s timesheet will be captured on the General Foreman’s timesheet ie ad-hoc labour
Ensure Trade Foremen submit accurate workforce trip assessments on schedule
Audit site / Project activities on a regular basis to ensure all compliance with Project safety, environmental and quality requirements
Ensure Sub-Contractor site representatives are fully aware of their obligations and responsibilities with regards to safety and site procedures

All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & Certification:
Essential:
Recognised Site discipline background
Trade Apprenticeship with appropriate Technical Qualification
Knowledge of Construction practices and procedures
IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint etc)
CompEX Appreciation
Knowledge of SBT installation
BOSIET/MIST/EBS
Approved Medical Certificate
Desirable:
Performing Authority experience
Management NVQ Level 3
Manual Handling
Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:
Demonstrable experience in similar role in Oil and Gas Projects
Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving Project goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times
Extensive knowledge of the Construction process and its implementation
Experienced in the management of personnel and all aspects of team working
Extensive knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures
Able to interface and interact with Management and Client representatives at all levels
Detailed knowledge of the Construction process and associated systems
Detailed knowledge of permit to work systems
Desirable:
Conversant with HR practices / processes
