About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable HR consultant to develop and implement bespoke HR strategies for our clients. As an HR consultant, you will be required to evaluate and identify human capital inefficiencies, recommend solutions, develop HR strategies and models, and provide advice on HR policies and best practices.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy Development
Assisting organizations in developing HR strategies that align with their business goals and objectives.
Employee Relations
Providing guidance on employee relations issues, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
Recruitment and Selection
Assisting with recruitment and selection processes, including job analysis, job descriptions, candidate sourcing, and interviewing.
Performance Management
Developing and implementing performance management systems, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms.
Training and Development
Identifying training needs, developing training programs, and conducting training sessions for employees and managers.
HR Policies and Procedures
Developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
Providing guidance on compensation and benefits strategies, including salary bench marking, bonus programs, and employee benefits.
HR Compliance
Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, and advising on best practices.
Organizational Development
Assisting with organizational development initiatives, such as change management, organizational design, and culture transformation.
Requirements
A professional certificate A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
A professional certificate (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI, CHRM)
Prior experience in human resources, organizational development, or a related field is required. Consulting experience will be a plus.
A thorough understanding of HR principles, practices and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Consultant or similar role.
The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
The ability to identify HR-related problems and develop creative solutions.
The ability to build relationships, work collaboratively and influence others
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Must adhere to high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
