Job Description:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of major electrical equipment and systems within the organization. You will play a crucial role in the design, execution, and optimization of projects across various domains, especially Chemical and Oil & Gas.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all phases of electrical equipment installations, including transformers, DG sets, motors, HT/LT panels, DB/CP, EHT systems, Cathodic Protection, Hazardous area equipment, and ELV systems.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure compliance with standards and client expectations.
Participate in and lead the design and implementation of HV, MV, and LV systems including load lists, single-line diagrams, schematics, and power/electrical/layout drawings.
Act as a primary point of contact for client and vendor coordination, managing relationships independently and effectively.
Engage in hands-on fieldwork and provide technical guidance for both existing plant modifications and greenfield projects.
Gather data and inputs crucial for project planning and execution.
Coordinate between onsite and offshore teams to ensure project deliverables align with the organizational goals.
