REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Follow change over procedures and all other necessary standard work in performing all
tasks as assigned
• Safely utilize tools (knives, nippers, etc.) and secondary equipment to produce high
quality products and includes knowing how to use Personal Protection Equipment,
proper lifting techniques.
• Performs mold changes safely and efficiently
• Understands core logic/sequence
• Knows why and how to inspect platen holes, bolts, cranes, and chains
• Has the ability to hook up water, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic lines and verify all
auxiliary equipment is functioning as intended
• Has the ability to make repairs to auxiliary lines including replacing lines, replacing O rings, and replacing fittings
• Has the ability to setup an injection molding machines
• Communicates effectively including shift change overs, walkthroughs, and mold changes
• Understands and utilizes Lock Out/Tag Out procedure
• Understanding and completion of TPMs - Daily or Weekly as required
• Understands and can identify the basic components of a mold
• Has the ability to fill out service requests
• Can effectively shut down all presses in plant to perform a mold change
• Run presses as needed and instructed by supervisor
• Shift Hours 4:00am to 2:30pm
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
• Lock Out/Tag Out Experience
• Previous die setting experience with injection molds
• Valid Forklift License
• Good verbal communications skills
• Basic mechanical experience
• Basic computer knowledge
• Detail oriented
• Lean Manufacturing - 5S
• Self-directed/motivated
• Works well with others with a great attitude
• Work OT/Weekends and shift assigned
• Reliable Transportation
